Supplies Needed; Toilet paper roll, black and green paint, wiggly eyes, scissors, 2 golf tees, glue, and a black pen.
Directions; Paint your toilet paper roll 2/3 green, 1/3 black, and allow to dry. Once dry, cut black 1/3 into strips to create hair. Poke two holes into the sides and insert golf tees. Glue on wiggly eyes, and draw on mouth as desired. For this craft we used a baby's foot print, wiggly eyes, and a black pen to create a mouth. When we initially put the footprints on the paper, they did not appear to be very defined, however when they dried they were much more pronounced.
Supplies Needed; Paper plate, green paint, wiggly eyes, green pompom, Black construction paper, scissors, black pen, and glue.
Directions; Paint your paper plate green, and allow to dry. While the paint is drying, use your black construction to cut out a hair shape and two bolt shapes (as seen above). Once the paint has dried, glue on wiggly eyes, pompom, and draw on eyebrow and mouth. Finally glue on hair and paper bolts. Supplies Needed; Toilet paper (ripped into small pieces), print out of mummy template (below), glue, wiggly eyes, orange construction paper, and scissors.
Directions; Cover mummy body template with glue, and allow children to cover the glue with toilet paper. When covered, glue on two wiggly eyes and allow to dry. Once dry, cut out the mummy, and glue it to your orange construction paper. Hand print art is an easy way to illustrate how children are constantly growing and changing. You can make several different art projects using little hands.
For this project we used two orange hand prints, and turned them into a pumpkins. |
