Supplies needed; White paper, green paper, tape, a pen, cotton balls, and glue.
Directions; Roll a strip into a circle and tape it in place. Then cut ears from the remaining white paper. Using the green paper, cut a base big enough for your sheep to sit on. Glue your circle to the green base, then glue on your ears. Next glue on cotton balls, as desired. Finally, draw on a face to your sheep. This sensory project allows children to feel the soft "wool" as they wrap the yarn around the lamb.
This activity also promotes hand movement and muscle growth. Cut out a foam sheep. Allow children to give their sheep an eyeball and its fur. |
