Green Eggs & Ham

To make the green eggs, use boiled eggs. Cut the boiled eggs in half and scoop out the yellow yolk. Mix the yellow yolk with green food coloring, greek yogurt, and your favorite mustard to consistency that you like. Add your new green yolk mixture to the inside of the egg white. Yum!

Lorax puzzle

Directions:
Cut out the Lorax pattern below using the yellow and orange felt/paper. Use those pieces, googly eyes, and a PomPom to create a Lorax puzzle.

Lorax Pattern (available below)
Orange Felt or thick paper

Green Eggs Snack

Supplies:

Vanilla or cheesecake flavor instant pudding
milk
vanilla wafers
bowl
whisk
green food coloring
sprinkle (optional)

Directions: Prepare pudding according to package directions. Add food coloring until desired color is reached. Keep pudding chilled until ready to serve. Serve pudding on a plate and place a vanilla wafer in the middle of the pudding. Add sprinkles.

Yink's Pink Ink Drink

Yink’s Pink Ink
(One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish)

Ideas:· lemon-lime soda pop, ginger ale, or seltzer water and add a splash of grenadine or maraschino cherry juice.· Milk and strawberry syrup (the kind you put on ice cream not pancake syrup)· Milk and strawberries blended in a blender· Pink Lemonade· Go simple and add a drop of red food coloring to milk or a clear carbonated beverage.

Yertle the Turtle

Supplies:

Paint and paint brushes
Construction paper
Tissue paper
Glue
Scissors

Directions: Use construction paper or tissue paper to create a turtle shell. Add arms, legs, head and tail with paint.

Truffula Trees (The Lorax)

Supplies:

Construction paper: green, blue, and yellow
Tissue paper
Glue
Markers

Tear a green sheet of construction paper in half long ways to create a grass area. Glue the green paper to the bottom of the blue sheet of construction paper, lining up the straight lines.

Tear thin strips of yellow paper to create tree trunks. Use markers to add stripes to the tree trunks. Glue trunks onto the grassy area. Tear tissue paper into pieces and use the end of a pencil and twist the tissue paper around the pencil end. Dip in glue and stick near top of tree trunks and gently pull the pencil away. Repeat until you have created the desired look of your Truffula Tree.
