For this one, we went to the local Dollar Store and picked up some Hydrating Beads. We put them in a heart shaped dish, and added a cup of water. Over time we watched the beads expand. The beads also work as a great sensory tool.

· Candy Hearts · Piece of paper · Markers Directions: Write the colors of the candy hearts along one side of the paper and number the other side of the paper. Some children find it easier to graph with lines but it can be done without lines. Give each child a box or handful of candy hearts and have the child match the candy hearts to the matching color. Here is a simple and sweet snack time idea. We used a sharpie on a banana skin to create this cutie.
