Read your favorite books about bears. Our favorite bear books are; Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle Megumi and the Bear by Irma Gold and illustrated by Craig Phillips AND Jamberry by Bruce Degen Supplies:
· Various shades of brown construction paper · Black construction paper · White construction paper · Glue Directions: Use white construction paper as background. Glue scraps of torn construction paper onto white paper to create an image of a bear.

Supplies:
· Slices of toast · Peanut butter · Sliced bananas · Raisins Directions: Spread peanut butter onto toast. Place a slice of banana onto both corners of top side of toast. Place a slice of banana into the center of the toast. Add a raisin to the middle of each banana slice. Serve! Supplies Needed; Print out of template (below), metal fasteners or "brads", scissors, glue and colored pencils or crayons
Directions; have children color bear features. Assist children in cutting out template. poke metal fasteners into X mark on limbs, and then poke them through the X mark on the body shape and fasten them in the back. Glue ears onto ears on body shape. |
