Bear-y Scrappy Bear Lesson Plan

Read your favorite books about bears. Our favorite bear books are;  
Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle
Megumi and the Bear by Irma Gold and illustrated by Craig Phillips
AND
Jamberry by Bruce Degen

Supplies:
·         Various shades of brown construction paper
·         Black construction paper
·         White construction paper
·         Glue

Directions: 
Use white construction paper as background. Glue scraps of torn construction paper onto white paper to create an image of a bear.
