Print off pictures of penguins and fish. Add numbers to the penguins and dots onto the fish. Encourage children to feed the hungry penguin with the fish with the correct number of dots.

Print off pictures of penguins and add numbers to them. Provide goldfish crackers for the children to "feed" the correct number of fish to each penguin.

Cut pieces of black construction paper that fits perfectly around a toilet paper roll. Provide orange construction paper, white construction paper, and the pieces of black construction paper.

Encourage children to cut out a beak from the orange construction paper and a body out of white construction paper.

Have them glue the construction papers to a toilet paper roll to put together their penguin. Then provide markers and eyes for them to finish their penguin.

Paper Plate Penguin

Give each child two paper plates, orange construction paper, and eyes. Have them cut 3 triangles out of the orange construction paper and then cut off the edges of one of the paper plates. Encourage the children to glue the paper plates together, add the eyes, feet, and beak.Then provide paint, crayons, or markers for them to finish their penguin.
