Grandparent's Gift to Treasure

Here is a wonderful gift that any Grandparent would treasure.

Read the book: “When a Child is Born, So is a Grandmother”by Mary Englebreit

Materials needed:

• picture frame
• pictures of the Grandchild(ren)
• picture of Grandparents
• paint
• paper plate
• pen
• glue

Directions: Have the children bring pictures from home, or take them at school. Cut them out.

Have the child(ren) make a handprint on a piece of paper, and cut it out.

Place the Grandparents picture, the child’s handprint and picture on the paper.

Write the children’s names and ages next to their picture.

Put into a frame.
