Color Sorting: Give children a bucket filled with objects of assorted colors. Have the child sort them by color in a muffin tin.

Here is what you will need: Bag of mini marshmallows, and toothpicks.
1. Taste test a marshmallow to make sure it tastes good ;-). 2. Put toothpicks into marshmallows and keep building into whatever shape you want. Print out this worksheet for some fun snack time math. Before eating the Animals have them tally how many of these animals there are. You can ask them questions like which animal had the most or the least. Which animals were not on the work sheet. You can also discuss the habitat of the animals in the wild.
