We were able to create these book totes for about $2 each! We purchased the bags for $1 each, we purchased the flowers for an additional dollar, the letters and glitter glue were purchased at the Dollar Tree store. We had a great time helping the children to decorate their own bags. We then took them to the library and had a great time filling them with our favorite books.

Directions: Paint palm and fingers of one hand brown and press down onto construction paper with thumb on bottom. Paint palm and fingers of other hand white and press on to paper with thumb up. Use paint to add a head for duck and swan. Squirt glue onto the body portion of duck and swan and stick brown/gray feathers to brown handprint and white feathers to white handprint. Once dry use a marker to add details to the duck and swan.

Directions: Place an egg in small shallow container. Use droppers with filled with liquid water color to decorate eggs. Set eggs back into egg carton dry and refrigerate until ready to eat. | Supplies:

Directions: Add vinegar to boiling water and mix well. Pour into small containers and add 15-20 drops of food coloring into each container and mix well. Use when mixture has cooled or store for later use.

Directions: Cut out feet, beak, wing feathers, tail feathers, and the chicken’s comb. Punch holes near bottom of paper plate and secure a chenille stem in each hole and attach a foot to each chenille stem. Attach tail feathers with a brad paper faster. Glue on beak, comb, wing feathers and eye.

 Pinch fingers and thumb open and shut above shoulders 4 times.  Bend knees and move towards the ground while shaking waist 4 times. Clap hands 4 times. Repeat until music tempo changes. |  Flap arms like a chicken 4 times.  During tempo change extend arms out fully and glide around like a bird in flight. When tempo changes again repeat previous steps. |

Directions: Paint back of paper plate green. Let dry completely. Cut out circles for eyes with each set of circles large than the previous set (green-large, white-medium, black-small). Cut out a yellow crown, black mouth, and red tongue. Glue pieces onto paper plate to create a Frog Prince.
