Grinch Ornament Set

Supplies:

Green, red and yellow cardstock
Glue; stick and liquid
Red glitter
Green feathers
Black marker
Circle tracer
Scissors
Hole puncher
Ribbon

Directions:

Cut out green circles (we traced a glass), yellow eyes, and red hearts.

Write or glue quotes onto one-side of green circle. Decide which quote you want on the back of your Grinch face and turn it over. Be sure that the writing is at the top when you flip it over.

For the Grinch face add a feather to the top and glue on yellow eyes.

Use the black marker to draw in other facial features.

For the Grinch’s heart pick another quote and on the back side glue a heart in the middle.

Add glue to heart and sprinkle on red glitter, shake off excess glitter.

Punch a hole in top of each ornament and tie on a ribbon.

Even if I wanted to go my schedule wouldn't allow it. 4:00, wallow in self pity; 4:30, stare into the abyss; 5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one; 5:30, jazzercize; 6:30, dinner with me - I can't cancel that again; 7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing... I'm booked. Of course, if I bump the loathing to 9, I could still be done in time to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling and slip slowly into madness. But what would I wear?
The avarice never ends! "I want golf clubs. I want diamonds. I want a pony so I can ride it twice, get bored and sell it to make glue." Look, I don't wanna make waves, but this whole Christmas season is stupid, stupid, stupid!

Find the Grinch’s Heart Supplies:

Water
Ice cube tray
Green food coloring
Dots red candies or Runts heart shaped candies (red dye in candies may slightly release into ice cubes)
Spoon
Salt

Directions:
Place a red candy into 3 or 4 spots in the ice tray. Mix green food coloring and water together.

Pour mix into ice tray. Place in freezer and remove when frozen.

Place ice cubes into a plastic tub or sensory table.

Tell the child to melt the ice with the salt to find The Grinch’s heart.
