Found Art Chime

This was a lot of fun to make. Have the child select items that they wish to attach to the chime, We used glue to attach the wiggly eyes, stickers, buttons, and a bow. We chose to use an old spoon as our top. We tied the yarn to the spoon, then attached the items to the spoon as desired.

Found Art Wand

These wands can be made by gluing two sticks together, wrapping them in yarn, then weaving the yarn between the two sticks to create a lacing like pattern. Find long objects, like ribbon, colored feathers, or threads to weave into the pattern. For a more natural look, consider grasses, leaves, or flowers.

"I spy" Jar

This is a great way to use random beads, buttons, lego pieces and other plastic odds and ends.

To Make;

Supplies needed; Jar with lid, glitter, beads, buttons and other plastic toys...

Directions; Fill the jar with desired items. Then add glitter. Slowly fill the jar with water until the jar is filled to the rim.
*Consider using super glue to make sure that little hands can't remove the lid.

To Play;

Use a list, or from memory, ask the child to locate items in their jar. They may spin the jar, shake it, or rotate it, to uncover each item.

Make your own "found Art" rainbow Fish

This was a fun way to clean out our ""scrap bin". We colored our fish (template below) then used the scraps to make our own Rainbow Fish. We used stickers, fabrics, pompoms, ribbon, and various other odds and ends.
