Supplies needed; Paper plate, scissors, glue, leaf collection, and ribbon
Cut out the center of your paper plate. Glue in each leaf as desired. When finished, take a small section of ribbon, tie it into a bow, and glue it to the bottom of your wreath. Allow to dry before hanging.
Supplies Needed; earth tone paint (color of your choice), fresh leaves (not dried), paper, and a paint brush.
We used a small piece of rolled tape, to affix one leaf (or two) to a piece of paper. Using an outward brushing motion, painted from the center of the leaf, to the paper. Repeat these brush strokes until you have completely covered the edges of the leaf. Then set the paper aside to dry. Once dry, carefully peel off the leaf and any remaining tape.
We decided to add a bit of glitter glue to make it sparkle.
These little trees make a beautiful addition to Thanksgiving and fall decor. We used a paper plate with different dots of finger paint as a palate, and had the kids each use their fingertips to create different colored leaves.
