Candy Cane Hide & Search

When you have leftover candy canes or if you stocked up on too many from the cheap clearance sale use them to help children to practice simple math, problem solving and critical thinking skills by finding hidden candy canes.

 

Candy Cane Hide & Search

Supplies:

·         Candy canes

 Hide cane candies and then have the children find them. When they think they found them all stop and count the candy canes. If any are missing search again until all are found. When finished playing give each child a candy cane to eat.

 

Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt

Supplies:

·         Candy Canes

·         Pieces of paper with clues

Create a list of clues to locate hidden candy canes. Leave a clue with each candy cane that will help the children find the next missing candy cane. To start the game give the children a clue to find the first missing candy cane. When the children finish their scavenger hunt let them enjoy their candy cane.
