Supplies Needed; Rainbow colored construction paper, scissors and a stapler
Directions; Cut strips of paper about 2" wide and 6" long. We used 5 of each color. Create a loop, overlap the ends, and staple over the ends. Thread each new paper through the previous loop, until finished. Supplies Needed; Orange construction paper, rainbow colored paints, cotton balls, glue and scissors
Directions; Using your construction paper, cut out a pot shape, and paste it to the bottom corner of your paper. In the opposite corner of your paper paste cotton balls. Assist the children in using their fingers to paint rainbow colored lines from the pot to the cloud. We chose to add a sun to shine on the rainbow. Supplies Needed; Paper plates, paints, green and yellow construction paper, a black pen and scissors.
Directions, assist children in cutting out a hat and a buckle shape using their construction paper. Next, paint the boarder of your plate to look like a beard. Allow the paint to dry. Once dry, glue you r hat to thew plate and the buckle to the center of the hat. Then assist children in drawing a face on their very own leprechaun. Supplies Needed; Green paint, q-tip, paper
Directions; Fold your paper into quarters, to make a card. Give children the q-tip, and show them how to make a shamrock using three (or four) dots, then add a stem. |
