Materials needed:
Color popsicle sticks with green marker or use pre colored popsicle sticks to make it easier. Glue them together in a triangle shape like the shape of a Christmas tree. Glue berries or beads onto the popsicle sticks. Tie a ribbon on top and hang on your tree. Here is a wonderful craft for older children. Supplies Needed; Pipe cleaners
Directions; Create an X shape with two full length pipe cleaners, twist the two together. Twist in one more pipe cleaner to create 6 equally length ends. Cut 4 gold pipe cleaners in thirds. Twist two gold pipe cleaners onto each white cleaner. Supplies Needed:
Supplies Needed:
Cut slits where desired for the candy cane to slide through. You want them just big enough for the candy cane. Now it’s time to decorate. Pull out the candy cane and glue on a star and some ornaments. You can use Elmer’s Glue-All or hot glue depending on ages {and speed you want to go!}. Allow time for the glue to dry before inserting the candy cane again. These have to be the easiest and cutest ornaments we have ever made!
Supplies Needed; Green (round) ornaments), construction paper, glue, and wiggly eyes Directions; Cut 4 strips of construction paper, they should be 1/2" thick and about 5.5" long. Glue construction paper strips to across the center of the ornaments. Glue wiggly eyes to the front. Done! Supplies Needed;
Butterfly paperclips, ribbon or yarn, and plastic beads Directions; These paper clips are called Butterfly Paperclips and aren't as easy to find as you may think. Try an office supply store, or Dollar Tree Store. Fold ribbon in half. Then fold cut ends around loop of floss threader. Place bead on floss threader. Pull bead over threader onto ribbon. With bead on ribbon, place ribbon through paper clip as shown. Place loop of ribbon over bead. Pull tight. Make a knot above the bead and at the ends of the ribbon. |
