Supplies Needed; Glue gun, beads, orange pipe cleaner, small piece of yarn
Directions; Take a small piece of yarn, and tie it off at the end to create a loop to hang tour ornament. Then cut a small piece of orange pipe cleaner, and bend it in half to create a nose. Position all of your pieces on a nonstick surface. We used a silicone pad, you can also use waxed paper or tinfoil. Cover your pieces in glue. Make sure that each piece is covered and allow to cool and dry. Cooling and drying will take several minutes. Once the glue is cool and dry, flip the ornament over and cover any bare spaces on the back. Allow the back to cool and dry.
* PLEASE use common sense when working with children and glue guns. Children should NEVER handle glue guns or be left unattended with hot glue. *
Paint a paper plate green. Once dry, cut it into quarters. Use a scrap of brown paper to create a tree trunk. Glue the tree trunk to a piece of construction paper, then glue the paper plate pieces above the trunk (as seen below). When the pieces dry, decorate as desired.
Supplies: · Broccoli · Cauliflower · Grape tomatoes · Orange peel, or orange pepper, or slice of cheese
Directions: Wash all produce well. Create a tree shape using broccoli. Add colorful touches with tomatoes and orange colored item of choice. Use cauliflower to create the effect of snow under the tree.
