Supplies Needed; Crayons or markers, and scissors Directions; Have children to color and cut out leaves, the template below has been offered as an example. You may also choose to take children outside to collect actual leaves. 
Supplies Needed; Photographs of the children, copies of the elf template below, and tape or glue. Directions; Have children color the picture of the elf and a cut it out. Assist children in affixing their photographs with tape or glue. Once finished, read the poem to the children and have them role play dropping the leaves as if they were an elf.
